Prairie St. John's has been providing services for children, adolescents, and adults to address behavioral health and substance use challenges since 1997. Prairie offers inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, and intensive outpatient services. Accredited by The Joint Commission, we are the largest, freestanding behavioral health facility in the region. More than 4,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Prairie St.

John's.

This is not just a job. The Medical Records Clerk is a valuable member of our team and Prairie family. We work together to save lives, change lives, and offer hope for the future. This position is 40 hours per week, 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Job Requirements:

• Previous medical records experience.
• Attention to detail - this position analyzes patient charts, reviews requests for documents and ensures the appropriate documentation is sent to referral sources and providers accurately and timely.
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to work with people is essential.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, receive direction from several different people, problem solve and prioritize workload independently
