The Opportunity

The Senior Project Controls Cost Analyst will work collaboratively with an external client and their project team to develop, manage, and control project budgets, reporting and administration for utility scale transmission and renewable energy projects in various life-cycle phases from development through commercial operation.

What You'll Do
  • Lead development, monitor, and update project team to develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, cost plans, and other financial information required
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and other stakeholders to ensure project financial data is complete and supports project completion to plan
  • Gather project financial information and data from all project stakeholders
  • Prepare detailed project cashflow forecasts upon request
  • Prepare and analyze monthly cost analysis including cost performance index (CPI) reporting; earned value (EV) analysis, budget, actual, variance and forecasted cost analysis and reporting
  • Set up and maintain project cost documentation
  • Attend project/management meetings
  • Maintain customer focus to meet or exceed customer expectations and represent Ulteig in a professional and courteous manner
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership, verbal/written communication, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Consistently produce results that meet goals, have high work standards, and understand the business environment and processes
  • Achieve results by problem solving, setting priorities and organization

What We Expect from You
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum 10 years of project cost, earned value or related experience required
  • Strong quantitative skills with ability to design moderately complex spreadsheet solutions, database queries, and other analytical tools
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with project management and client's leadership
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership, verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must be able to prepare clear and concise status updates and reports as required
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strives for individual excellence by seeking challenges and self‑development, demonstrating high levels of expertise, and showing commitment, self‑confidence, and integrity
  • Ability to travel occasionally for project and client‑related needs
  • Must have permanent work authorization for the US
