Floor retention – Pediatric InfectiousDiseases – Fargo, ND

Overview

Sanford Health has an opening for a BC/BE Pediatric Infectious Diseases Physician to join the region's largest team of board certified, fellowship-trained pediatricians and pediatric specialists.

• Outpatient clinic and inpatient consult practice in the region's only Level II trauma Children's Hospital with 24/7 in-house coverage by pediatric hospitalist, NICU, and PICU teams.
• Team currently consists of 2 MDs and 1 Nurse Practitioner.
• Consultative service only with 24/7 call coverage approximately 1 week at a time.
• Sanford Medical Center houses a 12 bed PICU with additional flex beds if needed. Floor is shared with a 24 bed pediatric unit, and 40-bed Level III NICU.
• Collaborative relationships between primary and pediatric subspecialty services including Allergy/Immunology, Cardiology, Child Abuse Team, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, and Rheumatology.
• Support from the largest team of more than 65 board certified, fellowship-trained pediatricians and pediatric specialists in more than 25 medical specialties, including general surgery, orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery.
• Sanford Health Fargo serves a large catchment area of 1.2 million throughout ND, MN and parts of SD and MT.
• Joint appointment as clinical faculty with Department of Pediatrics at UND School of Medicine and Health Science teaching medical students, family medicine and pediatric residents.
• Sanford Health Fargo is a Pediatric Subspecialty Loan Repayment Program (PSLRP) eligible site.

Competitive compensation package includes:

• Compensation floor of $250,000 for the first two years of the employment contract, plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs.
• In addition, a $100,000 incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 3 years (this will be subject to a contractual agreement specifying all details).
