• Experience of 1+ years (preferably from a busy practice)

  Surgical 1st. assist in cardiac

  • Duties include endoscopic vein harvesting and endoscopic radial artery harvesting, insert/remove chest tubes, IABP removal, 1st assist with operative cases including CABG, AVR/MVR, Aortic aneurysm repair, Aortic dissection, ECMO cannulation. Robotic assisted and minimally invasive valve surgeries, empyema and pneumothorax management.
  • Outstanding working relationship between physicians and APPs
  • Support from a full range of specialists
  • Increased autonomy
  • System-wide EPIC EMR

  Skills:

  • Graduate of accredited PA program
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ideal candidate would have cardiac surgical experience, however, other candidates with surgical experience will be considered. Will also consider new graduates with cardiac surgery elective and supporting recommendations.
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care

• Annual compensation range of $145,000-$215,000 for Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Based on experience, training, and education
