Job Summary

The Representative will provide effective and efficient handling of phone calls from or to Sanford Health members, providers, and colleagues ensuring a positive experience. Quickly assess case complexity and provide resolution or escalation. Provide positive customer experiences, respond to inquiries via inbound and outbound telephone calls and written correspondence.

Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with members, providers, and colleagues.
  • Assess call complexity, provide resolution or facilitate escalation.
  • Document interactions accurately for tracking and analysis.
  • Promote self‑service usage and provide end‑user support for system issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve knowledge management content.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate data administration rules, data security standards, and Sanford Health policies.
  • Follow customer service policies, processes and guidelines.
  • Deliver high quality customer service consistently in a professional manner.
  • Handle multiple customer requests in a timely manner and maintain attention to detail.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience in providing customer service.
  • General computer skills including MS Office, Outlook/Exchange.
  • Problem solving skills and proficiency in general organizational skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, listening skills.
  • Positive attitude, ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
