This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Estimator, based in one of our 4 office locations. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, conducting quantity take-offs, and managing project budgets. Daily tasks include analyzing project requirements, collaborating with client teams, determining material and labor costs, and preparing bidding documents. Transparent communication and precision in delivering actionable insights to support project decisions are key aspects of this role.
EssentialFunctions
- Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for a given scope of work
- Perform conceptual, design, and construction document level estimates with oversight
- Help develop and improve estimating systems in a team atmosphere
- Grasp construction methods and materials concepts for Divisions 01 through 33
- Adapt to client or company needs as project requirements change
- Maintain and promote relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Associates or Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred
- Understand technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail with a track record of meeting tight bid timelines
- Able to work in a team setting that is focused on quality and results
- Excellent computer, written, verbal and communication skills
- 3–5 years of commercial or general construction estimating experience
- Sage Estimating or other Estimating Software experience is a plus
- Field experience is a plus
