Are you a strategic builder who thrives on leading large-scale construction operations? Our client is seeking a driven Lead Construction Operations Manager to take charge of an active multi-year project in Fargo, ND. This is a high-impact leadership role with a clear path toward long-term site leadership.

What You'll be Doing:- Leading and developing the onsite construction team to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and profitability.
- Owning the project schedule - planning, tracking, forecasting, and driving milestones with superintendents, PMs, and support teams.
- Acting as the primary operational contact for clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Overseeing financial performance including GMP tracking, forecasting, billing, and weekly cash flow reviews.
- Collaborating closely with estimating, preconstruction, BIM/VDC, fabrication, procurement, accounting, safety, quality control, and commissioning teams.
- Managing site logistics, material flow, fabrication coordination, and subcontractor performance.
- Ensuring all quality control and commissioning requirements are met to set up long-term success on the project.
- Monitoring labor productivity and driving continuous improvement across all trades.
- Reviewing and supporting change orders with PMs and estimating.
- Serving as the operational leader for the site - with the opportunity to grow into long-term leadership for future phases.
- A proven construction leader with experience managing field teams on complex, multi-phase projects.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in GMP, forecasting, earned value, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency with advanced scheduling tools (P6, Last Planner System, EVM).
- Skilled collaborator who can coordinate across multiple departments and subcontractors.
- A strong communicator who excels at client interaction and team accountability.
- Someone who leads with safety first, drives results, and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
