Flatwork Supervisor

• All employees are expected to arrive on the job site on time with no drug or alcohol in their systems
• Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol test
• Must have a current driver’s License that is acceptable by our current insurer
• Must have a DOT Med card or be able to pass the physical to obtain a DOT med card
• Must clock into our electric timecard system daily
• Must have hammer, tape, nail apron, steel toed boots, and rubber overshoes

• Ability to research and examine data and factors that affect the cost of working with concrete
• Must be able to read and follow commercial & residential blueprints
• Ability to complete an overview of quality of work, safety on job site, and care of equipment, trucks and trailers
• Must help shape and enforce all company policies and job descriptions
• Must have good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work with job engineers, architects, and homeowners in a professional and courteous manner at all times
• Responsible for the crew's efficiency
• Must have correct information to the crew in a timely manner
• Responsible for reviewing weekly timecards to ensure accuracy
• Responsible for all job-related paperwork in a timely manner
• Knowledge of local flatwork codes

• 5+ Years experience preferred
• Have good communication skills
• Must be able to lead by example
• Must have quick problem solving and conflict resolution abilities
• Ability to motivate without cursing and demeaning
• Ability to coach and grow employees
• Travel may be required
• Must be team-oriented with the ability to lead by example and recognize that all employees are valued members of Summit Siteworks
