Overview

With locations in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota, Forum Communications Printing addresses commercial printing and mailing needs with our high-quality print and mail solutions. Services include magazine, catalog, book, and tradeshow printing, brochures, direct mailers, postcards, variable data printing, statements, glossy inserts, annual reports, fulfillment, first class mail pick-up, and print & digital publications. Forum Communications Printing is part of Forum Communications Company, a 5th-generation, family-owned, Upper Midwest media company.

Loads and unloads freight at dock area. This is a full time position, Monday-Friday, approximately 8am-5pm, with some seasonal overtime potential.

• Operate electric pallet jack to move incoming and outgoing freight.
• Move skids of inserts to the appropriate location, and help the bindery department moving and opening skids.
• Wrap and package products per job order.
• Responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of UPS online computer program, Fed Ex computer program, and other shipping programs as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of Monarch to track job costing.
• Drive trucks to deliver products to customers, as needed.
• Operate forklift, clamp lift, pallet jack.
• Organize paperwork for inserts.

• High school diploma or general education degree preferred.
• 1 to 3 months related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred, but not required.
• Competent computer skills with Microsoft Windows and Excel required.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Some flexibility with availability is preferred, as there may be seasonal overtime necessary to meet project deadlines.
• General knowledge of the printing process, and working knowledge of postal requirements.
• Familiarity with the service/delivery area is helpful, when doing delivery duties.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is insurable by the company.
• Must carry an acceptable level of vehicle insurance as required by the company.

Expected compensation for this role is between $17 and $20/hour, based on qualifications and experience.
