CLA has been retained to assist our client in the search for an experienced Accountant to join their team. This is a full-cycle accounting role seeking someone with experience working in the manufacturing sector.

What you'll do:

• Establish and maintain labor cost reporting in the areas of efficiency and rate reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Establish and maintain materials cost reporting in the areas of efficiency and rate reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Establish and maintain overhead cost reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Create and maintain individual product codes (SKUs) costs roll-up, including labor materials and overhead.
• Conduct, at a minimum, quarterly updates to all product codes (SKUs).
• Create and enter cost and general accounting journal entries on a daily, weekly and monthly basis into the ERP.
• Generate reports through the ERP system for internal and external customers.
• Communicate reporting results to appropriate leaders at all levels within the organization.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, audits and reporting as requested.
• Assist in other areas of the accounting department as requested.
• Adhere to and maintain compliance with established systems, policies and procedures.
• Comply with all safety and housekeeping expectations and 5s standards.
• Keep supervisor informed of progress, issues, and successes.
• Identify, recommend and implement opportunities for continuous performance and process improvements.
