About Us
Server House is a regional pioneer in cloud, data centre and connectivity solutions. We have been providing ISP services since 1995 and began building our own fibre network since 2017. We build our network on demand (to order) and operate almost exclusively in the Solent area. We’re looking for someone to help us expand and maintain our network and deliver service to new customers.
Therole
You will be working with our existing teams to:
- Build new spine
- Pull in new fibre
- Work on the Openreach network underground and overhead.
- Survey routes
- Rode and Rope
- Splice joints
- Internal cabling on customers premises (home and business)
- Provide a fast professional customer experience to our customers
- Fault find and problem solve.
You will be provided with:

You should be:
- Reliable
- Physically fit
- Willing to learn and adapt
- Able to work safely
- Have an eye for detail
- An excellent communicator
- Good problem solving skills
- Have experience in the field
- Have an understanding of networking (WiFi, DHCP etc)
- Ideally accreditation's including SA001, SA002, NRSWA OS1
The position is aimed at someone with experience in the industry who would like to move away from being self employed, is looking to widen their skill set or gain full time employment. Being a small company our engineers are multi skilled, route finding, surveying, pulling fibre, repairing, splicing and working on customer sites so no two days are the same.
