Role Overview

Part of the Protective Security & Business Resilience Operations Team within the Security and Information Management Division. Reports the Business Continuity & Crisis management Lead who reports to the Head of Protective Security & Business Resilience operations.

Responsibilities & Focus
  • Provide advice, guidance and oversight of Business continuity.
  • Secondary focus:
    Incident & Crisis Management within ONS.
  • Deliver ONS Business Continuity integrated into operations, verifying effectiveness of organisation-wide measures and response to security incidents.
  • Physical Security responsibilities at ONS Sites.
Development Opportunities

Support to work towards formal qualification with Business Continuity Institute (BCI).

Qualifications & Skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive & able to work independently.
  • Keenness to learn & develop professionally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure & manage competing priorities.
