Job summary – What to expect:
As a Distribution Operator, you will learn to manage one or two processes at a basic level, potentially including Picking, Pack station Scanning, Pre-Sort, Machine Over labelling, fitting set production, receiving, put away, replenishment or assisting re-work and cycle counting , and will carry out a limited range of tasks in an assigned area under supervision.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out the functions in your assigned area of work in accordance with company procedures, work instructions and systems.
- Compliance with health and safety regulations including the safe use of equipment (i.e. machinery, lift truck, manual handling equipment) and general good housekeeping to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Having limited involvement in investigating and resolving issues in an assigned area, communicating where necessary any relevant information to the Team Leader or Senior Operator to ensure minimum disruption and maximum service levels
- Correctly applying the different company systems in a very specific defined area
- Working under tight instructions and supervision of a trainer, a more senior operator or a supervisor.

Required
- Good Standard of English and Maths
Preferred
- A basic knowledge of a limited number of processes (no prior operator experience required).
