Production Operative Manufacturing

Overview

N+C Glass, part of the Nicholls and Clarke Group, is looking to recruit a Production Operative to join our Fareham factory on a permanent basis due to exciting company growth.

N+C Glass are highly reputable glass window manufacturers and have been operating for nearly 150 years. Our Fareham warehouse has a vacancy on our sealed unit line at the end stage of the sealing robot. This position is on our day shift with the working hours being 6am-4.30pm. No experience necessary. This is a manual job that requires lifting of units and attention to detail to spot any quality issues.

• Understanding and completing paperwork.
• Operating glass processing machinery and equipment.
• Maintaining health and safety regulations across the factory floor.
• Housekeeping of machinery and work areas.
• Manual handling of glass.
• The quality of glass and work produced.
• Working on either an automated unit production line / a toughened glass production line / loading of goods in and out / assembling internal frames.
