Registered Care Home Manager – Hartwell Lodge

Buckland Care is seeking an exceptional Registered Manager to lead Hartwell Lodge, our 31-bed residential care home in Fareham. As Registered Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the home each day – supporting your team, welcoming families, and making sure every resident feels safe, cared for, and truly seen. You’ll be the reassuring voice when someone has a worry, the calm steady presence when things get busy, and the person who helps the home feel warm, organised, and well-loved.

This role is a real blend of people skills, kindness, and confident leadership. You’ll guide your team with clarity and compassion, keep standards high without losing the human touch, and help create a home where residents feel valued and staff feel proud to be part of something meaningful.

• At least seven years’ experience in the care sector.
• Experience as a Manager or several years as a Deputy in a care home environment.
• A calm, supportive, and motivating leader.
• Strong organisational and administration skills.
• Clear, friendly communication style.
• Confident in managing budgets and supporting occupancy.
• Committed to high standards of care and teamwork.
