Company Overview

A highly regarded financial planning and investment firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its technical advice team. Known for its professional integrity, strong compliance culture, and collaborative working environment, this is a rare opportunity for a paraplanner to take on a high-quality, long-term role supporting advisers who work exclusively with high-net-worth clients. This is a full-time, office-based role located within commuting distance of North West London and Hertfordshire.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with financial advisers and fellow technical professionals to deliver outstanding support across client planning and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analysing client fact finds, investment portfolios, and pension arrangements
  • Conducting tax calculations and supporting strategic planning decisions
  • Writing high-quality, FCA-compliant suitability reports
  • Creating and interpreting lifetime cashflow models
  • Supporting advisers with technical queries and planning recommendations
  • Attending client meetings when required
  • Mentoring junior paraplanners and contributing to internal best practice
  • Supporting ongoing improvements to advice processes and reporting tools
Requirements

We’re looking for a confident, detail-driven paraplanner with:

  • CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a paraplanning role
  • Sound knowledge of pensions, investments, protection, and IHT planning
  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients and complex cases
  • Strong report-writing, research, and communication skills
  • A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, office-based team environment
Salary & Benefits

Salary: up to £45,000 (depending on experience)
