Currently located in Titchfield, Hampshire, Eaton's Aerospace business stands as a global leader in aerospace fuel systems. Our site is undergoing a significant and exciting transformation as we relocate to a newly constructed facility in Daedalus. This state-of-the-art site will serve as the Centre of Excellence for aerospace manufacturing across Europe, marking a new era of innovation and excellence. We pride ourselves as a premier supplier of fully integrated fuel systems for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft.

We boast extensive fuel and air system test facilities, facilitating comprehensive testing across a range of conditions with various fuel types.

Responsibilities
  • Provides overall Program interface with the customer.
  • Improves organization responsiveness to customer requirements.
  • Communicates and manages customer expectations and contractual commitments internal to the business.
  • Manages customer contract, pricing, terms and conditions and contractual flow-down through the organization.
  • Ensure that scope is managed appropriately, and effective change management process is utilized.
  • Assures that a high-quality reliable product or system solution is supplied to the customer which meets all customer, applicable industry specification and certifying authority requirements, and meets overall customer expectations.
  • Manages on time achievement of all Statement of Work (SOW) and other development milestones (design reviews, submittals, etc.).
  • Responsible for on time delivery of products and services. Leads the SOW task within the described product development process structure.
  • Responsible for overall life-of-the program successful financial performance (ROI).
  • Works seamlessly within Aerospace organization to achieve financial program success, including supporting the Profit plan and Forecasting processes, as well as non-recurring and recurring cost management.
  • Champions IPT leadership across the Program. Facilitates the implementation of program management processes at the site, business unit or Division. Seeks team input to promote rapid resolution to issues. Coaches and provides feedback/rewards on performance indicators.
  • Monitors & reports overall performance through metrics during all phases of the program and develops as well as implements corrective action & recovery plans as required.
  • Responsible for project reporting including but not limited to relevant Stakeholders at business unit, divisional, and/or group levels.
  • Leads IPT in identifying, quantifying and mitigating risk. Uses risk identification, assessment, and mitigation methodologies. Seeks team input to promote rapid resolution to issues. Provides feedback on performance indicators.
  • Ensures effective change management process is utilized to maximize revenue recovery where appropriate.
  • Provides periodic program updates of current situation relating to contractual milestones and problem/high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule). Provides updates to the business units as well as divisional levels.
Qualifications
  • Mnimum of 3 years of experience in Aerospace Program Management, Engineering, Customer Service, or Operations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Aerospace), Information Technology, or Business/Management
Skills
  • Experience in Aerospace NPI programs and Aerospace industry
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP) highly preferred
  • Experience in Risk Management
