Location:

The locations for this role are Newport and Titchfield (Fareham).

We operate a flexible hybrid working model across the UK, with colleagues linked to one of our contractual locations and working between office and remote throughout the week. As part of the hybrid working arrangement there is a 40% minimum office attendance requirement.

Salary: £34,587

Role Overview

Join the Office for National Statistics as a Portfolio Analyst and play a vital role in improving lives through data, by ensuring our most important statistical programmes are delivered effectively and efficiently.

As a Portfolio Analyst, you'll oversee collections of programmes and projects that support our departmental objectives, from major statistical transformations to digital modernisation initiatives. You'll provide crucial insights and analysis that strengthen portfolio governance, enable prioritisation decisions, and ensure effective resource allocation across our diverse range of statistical outputs.

This role is suitable for individuals with strong analytical skills and experience in project or programme management offices, particularly in planning, resourcing, risk, and governance. Candidates from other professional backgrounds with proven analytical capabilities are also encouraged to apply.
