• Managing, mentoring, and developing a small finance team
• Overseeing all core accounting activities including bookkeeping, reconciliations, reporting, and month‑end/year‑end processes
• Ensuring strong financial controls and compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Producing accurate financial reports to support business decision‑making
• Partnering with internal departments to provide financial insight and operational support
• Enhancing processes, systems, and reporting frameworks
• Maintaining a positive, professional, and collaborative finance environment

• 🍀 AAT Level 4 qualified or higher (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience managing and developing finance staff
• Strong, hands‑on background across all areas of accounting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – confident working with people at all levels
• Organised, analytical, and proactive with strong problem‑solving skills
• Adaptable, team‑focused, and keen to support continuous improvement
