Purchase Ledger Assistant

We are seeking a talented and motivated Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager in this part‑time role, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the Purchase Ledger and related finance tasks. Your main responsibilities include:

• Ensure supplier invoices are appropriately matched to purchase orders
• Maintain ledger accuracy and integrity, assisting in the preparation of payment runs
• Carry out monthly reconciliations and month‑end reporting
• Organise the inbox daily, match records and liaise with stakeholders
• Perform other ad‑hoc duties to support the smooth running of purchase ledger and banking functions
• Identify and support continuous improvements in process and controls

• Previous experience in a purchase ledger role
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
• IT proficiency and strong Excel skills
