QUALIFICATIONS:
* Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
* Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
* Experience in child health, community health, or other relevant clinical nursing.
* Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide nursing services to student populations on a day to day, as needed basis.
* Assessment, triage and treatment of acute illness.
* Administer medications.
* Communicate with parents, faculty/staff and healthcare providers as needed.
* Provide emergency care in cases of injury or sudden illness.
* Perform such other tasks as may be assigned by the building Principal and/or the Director of Student Services
SALARY: $175 per day
