Superintendent - Cape + Islands

Role: Superintendent
Location: Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Martha's Vineyard
Compensation: $120,000 - $160,000 DOE (full suite of benefits, gas card + vehicle allowance, and more!)

POSITION SUMMARY: One of the most well recognized General Contractors in New England is on the hunt for a Superintendent. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as either the Lead or #2 Super on projects, has built out multiple projects from beginning to end, and ideally has prior experience working on Multifamily or Healthcare projects. DUTIES AND CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee, manage, and document all job site activities

• Manage field personnel based on the project plan

• Understand and implement the Field Standard Operating Procedures

• Develop a project schedule with the PM and update as needed

• Constantly be in communication with the Project Manager about all project updates or issues

• Establish effective working relationships with our team as well as subcontractors

• Update the look ahead schedule on a weekly basis

• Confirm that subcontracts have all necessary paperwork to operate safely and efficiently

• Ensure that all activities are being performed in accordance with OSHA on a daily basis

• Maintain the job site to meet company standards

• Complete daily reports and maintain activity logs, files, and shop drawings

• Manage material deliveries

• Perform other tasks as needed

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES:

• 3+ years of Superintendent experience for a General Contractor

• Prior experience working on Multifamily or Healthcare projects is a huge plus

• Must have experience as the Lead or 2nd Super on multiple ground up projects

• Must be able to provide own transportation to job sites
