RN - Nurse Practice Educator | Travel/Contract
- Location: Falmouth, ME, 04105
- Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
- Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2,080 - $2,240
- Develop and deliver educational programs based on staff needs and best practices.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate orientation for new nursing staff.
- Monitor staff competencies and provide clinical education as required.
- Act as a resource and mentor for clinical staff in the delivery of patient care.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve nursing practices and quality outcomes.
- Ensure staff are trained in infection control, safety procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing standards, trends, and innovations.
- Assist in the development and updating of nursing policies and procedures.
- Education: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred, along with a strong clinical background.
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
- Certification: BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of clinical nursing experience (acute care, long-term care, or home health). 1-2 years of experience in a clinical educator, preceptor, or leadership role.
- Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities are essential.
- Candidates outside a 50-mile radius qualify for travel pay.
