    Valley Waste Service, Inc. is seeking a heavy truck diesel mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy diesel trucks.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assess, diagnose, and repair heavy diesel trucks and light trucks.
  • Typical repairs include but are not limited to: hydraulic, fuel, exhaust, brake, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 1 year experience of troubleshooting and repairing problems with heavy diesel trucks or graduate of Trade School Program.
  • Employees must provide their own safety-approved work boots.
  • Employees must provide their own tools and locking tool box.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to sit/stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, crouch/crawl, and push/pull required.
  • Ability to lift/carry upwards of 50 lbs. for short distances.
