Valley Waste Service, Inc. is seeking a heavy truck diesel mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy diesel trucks.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assess, diagnose, and repair heavy diesel trucks and light trucks.Typical repairs include but are not limited to: hydraulic, fuel, exhaust, brake, suspension, and electrical systems.Perform preventative maintenance.Able to follow written and verbal instructions.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 1 year experience of troubleshooting and repairing problems with heavy diesel trucks or graduate of Trade School Program.Employees must provide their own safety-approved work boots.Employees must provide their own tools and locking tool box.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to sit/stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, crouch/crawl, and push/pull required.Ability to lift/carry upwards of 50 lbs. for short distances.Valley Waste Service, Inc.
