POSITION SUMMARY:Step into a dynamic leadership role where every day brings the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. As the Residential Coordinator, you will guide, mentor, and empower a dedicated team of Residential Support Specialists to deliver exceptional, client-centered services. You’ll ensure around-the-clock operational excellence by managing staff scheduling, monitoring service quality, and driving alignment with program goals and performance standards.
In this pivotal position, you will champion safety and security practices, oversee critical procedures such as medication monitoring, and address health and safety concerns to protect and support residents. Your strong problem-solving skills will shine as you handle escalated issues, ensuring swift and effective resolutions.
Communication is key; you’ll foster clear, consistent collaboration with Residential Support Specialists, Case Managers, the Shelter Facilities Manager, Operations Teams, and Community Partners.

We meet their emergency needs through our wrap around services and community partnerships and help individuals and families experience safe and stable housing after years of uncertainty and instability. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Provides direct supervision, coaching and training to Residential Support Staff to ensure effective service delivery.
- Build respectful and supportive relationships with clients and staff to promote health, wellness, and stability.
- Monitors service delivery to ensure alignment with program goals and ensure performance measures are consistently met.
- Manages the RSS schedule to ensure adequate staff coverage 24 hours a day.
- Ensures protocols, procedures and guidelines are being followed to protect the safety and security of residents, including monitoring the medication process, and other health and safety concerns to protect clients.
- Assist with conflict resolution, crisis intervention, and de-escalation as needed.
- Facilitate life skills activities, groups and community engagement.
- Handles escalated concerns, ensuring timely and appropriate response and resolution.
- Creates and maintains consistent communication channels, both verbal and written, with key stakeholders including RSS, Case Managers, the Shelter Facilities Manager, Operations Team and Community Partners.
- Maintain accurate documentation including incident reports, shift logs, room and facility checks.
- Assists RSS and Case Managers to develop and monitor residents’ individual service plans to support progress toward housing stability and personal goals.
- Attend team meetings, training, and case conferences.
- Conduct routine unit checks, fire drills, and safety inspections.
- Represents FACETS in the community, in accordance with Agency Mission, Vision, and Code of Ethics.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of current social services, homelessness, and housing issues and methods/approaches to address issues.
- Demonstrated experience leading a high performing team.
- Knowledge or understanding of tenants’ rights and responsibilities as well as “strengths based” case management.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Candidate must be able to lift items weighing 10-20 pounds.
- Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, good driving record, and personal car insurance.
- Candidates will be required to pass criminal background and Child Protective Services background checks.
- CPR Certification Preferred.
