Join a team where your skills and passion will be appreciated and rewarded! Nelson's HVAC is currently seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to help us continue to provide exceptional service to our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

The Senior HVAC Technician will be responsible for:

Performing detailed inspections of HVAC systems to identify issues.

Repairing or replacing defective HVAC equipment, components, or wiring.

Installing new HVAC systems, including setting up and wiring of thermostats and other controls.

Conducting tests after repairs and maintenance to ensure systems are working correctly and safely.

Supervising and mentoring junior technicians, providing on-the-job training.

Communicating complex HVAC issues to non-technical clients, providing advice on maintenance and repairs.

Ensuring all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the standards of local and national safety codes.

Providing exceptional customer service and handling customer queries related to HVAC systems and equipment.

Handling urgent or emergency calls for HVAC issues, including troubleshooting and fixing problems promptly.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate must have:

Extensive experience in the HVAC industry.

Excellent technical skills, including in-depth knowledge of HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair.

Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to work.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

A commitment to adhering to safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.

Flexibility for a rotating schedule, including on-call work every other Saturday.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer competitive pay between $24 to $30 per hour, plus commissions on sales. After one year of employment, employees are eligible for medical insurance benefits and our company's retirement plan. After six months, five days of Paid Time Off (PTO) is earned. Professional development opportunities and training seminars are offered after three months of employment.
