Security Officer - Footbeat Patrol

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying clinical staff and/or local responders as required by post orders.;
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.;
Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify identification and/or authorization when required, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate departments while supporting patient privacy expectations.;
Document security-related observations, incidents, and shift activities in written reports and electronic logs, and communicate timely updates to supervisors and site leadership per established protocols.
