GDIT is seeking to fill a Senior Security Officer / Physical Security Officer position at our Falls Church, VA location to support the Headquarters Global Workforce Protection Team
. The Senior Security Officer / Physical Security must have a strong background with construction requirements of secure areas such as SCIF’s, SAPF, etc.

• Experience with construction requirements of secure areas (Closed Areas, SCIFs, SAPF, etc.)
• Management and oversight of access control system/s; iSTAR configurations, CCure 9000, etc.
• Serves on a team supporting the Physical Security Manager
• Creation of employee and visitor badges and security level assignment for access control.
• Oversight of camera systems.
• Understanding of risk identification, documentation and remediation recommendations.
• Perform investigations, documentation and develop incident reports for Management.
• Manages Industrial Physical security functions for HQ element.
• Ensures compliance with National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM) and associated government regulations and company policies.
• Advises GDIT Security Managers regarding security regulations and procedures.
• Reviews, investigates, and leads remediation of non-compliance issues.
• Advises assigned Security Officers as to current and changing security regulations.
• Participates in the development and implementation of security procedures in coordination with government agencies and program management.
• Ensures that security personnel are familiar with GDIT policies and government regulations.
• Support to the GDIT Group elements as directed by Security Management.

• Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years physical security experience supporting large scale industry.
• In lieu of degree, 12+ years of physical security experience supporting large scale Industry is required (plus high school diploma)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance
• Strong hands on experience managing SWH CCure 9000 system with Level 1 training
• ICD 705 experience highly preferred
• Location:
  
  Hybrid to Falls Church office working a minimum of three (3) days in office

• CPP, PSP, PCI or other Physical Security Certifications

The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $125,350. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
