** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive and secure atmosphere at the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons on the premises, according to Allied Universal and client site procedures.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout assigned areas to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to those at the location.

+ Collaborate with healthcare staff and first responders during emergencies and/or incidents, following established protocols.

+ Complete detailed and timely reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client site standards.

* + Hospital employees must have required vaccines.

+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
