As a Security Guard - Unarmed DoD Secret Clearance in Falls Church, VA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to site procedures.
• Support access control by verifying credentials and observing entry and exit points.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities as required by site policies.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while performing assigned duties in aerospace and defense environments.

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
