Overview

Godfrey’s Bakery Cafe first brought all-day farm-to-table dining to West Broad Street in Falls Church in September 2023; since then, we’ve seen exponential and explosive growth in our breakfast, coffee, lunch & dinner services. Located directly adjacent to the new Meeting House hotel, Chef Godfrey McKenzie’s mix of European pastries, free-range quiches, pizza and other plates large and small has been a smash hit with the Falls Church community.

Now, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of both our recurring plated dinner experience, Godfrey’s Supper Club, and our secluded outdoor open-air oasis, Godfrey’s Back Bar.

Godfrey’s is seeking experienced bartenders to join our growing team as we debut our new cocktail & beverage program. Are we the right fit for you?

The absolute must-haves for a candidate to be considered for this role:

• Available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and some holidays. Must be able to work a minimum of 2 Sundays per month.
• The ability to spend up to 8 hours in constant motion working on one’s feet.
• A hunger to learn & grow within the hospitality industry.
• A keen attention to detail.
• A level-headed disposition under pressure.
• A sense of humor.
• A minimum of one (1) year’s experience bartending in a high-touch and/or high-volume environment.

And, a few pluses that we will happily put to good use on the team:

• Experience with Square for Restaurants POS.
• High-level wine, cocktail, and other beverage knowledge (or mid-level knowledge with a serious passion to keep learning more).
• Experience tracking & maintaining a bar inventory.
