Operating Room (OR) RN – Level I Trauma

📍 High-Acuity Surgical Center
⏱ Travel Contract | Nights Available

Join a busy, Level I Trauma Operating Room with 25 state-of-the-art OR suites, advanced service lines, and a high surgical volume. This is an ideal opportunity for experienced OR travelers who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.

• Weekend Requirement: 2–3 shifts per 6-week schedule period
  (Typically Saturday or Sunday — try not to schedule both)
• Call: Not required on night shift
• Holidays: At least 1 holiday required
• Scrubs: Provided

• 25 Operating Rooms
• 60–80 cases per day
• Weekend Coverage:
  • Saturday/Sunday: 5–6 ORs running
  • Sunday urgent cases: 4 ORs
  • Nights: 2 ORs running
• EMR: EPIC

• Orthopedics (including Total Joints, OTT)
• General Surgery
• Robotics
• Organ Transplants (Kidney)
• ENT
• Oral & Maxillofacial
• Vascular / Thoracic
• Urology
• Pediatrics (including neonates)
• Adult & Pediatric Trauma

👉 Neonate & pediatric OR experience strongly preferred
👉 Level I Trauma experience required

• Active RN License
• AHA BLS (required)
• Scrub & Circulate experience
• Minimum 2 years Level I Trauma OR experience
• Travel experience required (1–2 prior assignments)
  🚫 Not accepting first-time travelers

• Confident in high-volume, high-acuity OR environments
• Strong multitasker with excellent situational awareness
• Flexible, team-oriented, and calm under pressure
• Comfortable with adult, pediatric, and trauma cases
