Inova Health is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team. This role will be full‑time, day shift Monday‑Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. Nurses will be asked to float between clinics occasionally.

Job Responsibilities:
- Administering vaccines, health assessments, blood draws, routine care, urgent care, and medical assistance as necessary.
- Formulates plans of care based on trends of similar patients including patient education and discharge planning. Identifies variances from expected outcomes. Evaluates patient outcomes and makes revisions to plans of care.
- Collaborates with patients/families to identify realistic desired outcomes. Adapts standards and guidelines for individual patients. Tailors and prioritizes caring practice to individual needs including cultural, ethical, and spiritual needs. Participates in the planning of routine transitional healthcare needs (i.e., treatment options, patient placement options, end‑of‑life options). Responds to changes in patients' needs and provides holistic caring.
- Documents all patient care activities as per documentation standards. Assists the healthcare team with the documentation process.
- Education:
BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date. - Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience:
0 years of Registered Nurse clinical experience. - Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association. Top Secret Security Clearance (ISSA/TS/SCI) required. If Team Member does not hold Top Secret Security Clearance (ISSA/TS/SCI) at the time of hire, the Team Member must obtain it within one year of the hire date.
- 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse; experience in ED, ICU, Urgent Care, Occupational Health or Federal agencies desired.
