We are seeking a Talent Intelligence Analyst to join Northrop Grumman's People AI & Analytics organization. This position will report to the Manager, Research & Insights. This role will sit in our Falls Church, VA location but we may also consider a hybrid or teleworker arrangement for this position. At Northrop Grumman, People AI & Analytics is a core domain within our Insights & Intelligence (i2) organization.
As part of our Chief Information & Digital Office (CIDO), i2 works with all enterprise domains and businesses to drive our data, analytics & AI transformation. As a Talent Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting external talent market research to support strategic workforce decisions. In these efforts, you will stay current on emerging talent trends across industries and apply rigorous, resourceful analysis to source and interpret data that shape enterprise strategies.

* Scanning and maintaining surveillance over the external talent market, identifying trends and opportunities.
* Creating and maintaining artifacts synthesizing the employee value propositions and talent strategies of key competitors.
* Staying informed of industry, talent competitor, and emerging trends related to employee experience.
* Evaluating Northrop Grumman's people strategy compared to competitors, uncovering ways to improve outcomes across the business.
* Performing ad hoc analysis to provide competitive research for HR initiatives.
* Distilling research findings into compelling stories with actionable insights.

* Employee Discounts This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role can be performed by a level 2 (early-career) or a level 3 (mid-career) analyst.
Basic Qualifications:
* Level 2:
Must have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience - OR - a relevant Master's degree with 0 years of relevant experience - OR - a relevant PhD with 0 years of relevant experience.
* Level 3:
Must have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience - OR - a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience - OR - a PhD with 1 year of relevant experience.
* Deep curiosity and a willingness to pull the thread on difficult questions.
* Understanding of (or interest in) HR domain areas and metrics (such as talent acquisition, compensation, performance, learning and development, and HR metrics).
* Demonstrated experience synthesizing analyses to inform decision making.
* Experience conducting competitive intelligence research or related business/HR research using diverse sources and ethical collection techniques.
* Ability to use programming languages (e.g., R, Python) to conduct analysis and create visualizations.
* Experience collaborating on projects with multiple teams, managing relationships, and communicating findings to audiences.
