We are seeking an experienced Postgre

SQL Database Architect to lead our efforts in optimizing and enhancing the performance of our existing database architecture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in performance tuning, query optimization, and scalability improvements for Postgre

SQL environments.

• Analyze and optimize existing Postgre
  
  SQL database structures and queries
• Design and implement scalable database solutions
• Develop and maintain database security protocols
• Create and manage backup and recovery procedures
• Collaborate with development teams to improve database integration
• Monitor database performance and implement proactive optimizations
• Lead database migration and upgrade projects

• 4 to 7+ years of experience with one or more of the following:
  • Postgre
    
    SQL performance tuning, query optimization, and scalability improvements
  • Database design principles, including normalization, denormalization, and partitioning strategies
  • Designing and implementing scalable database solutions
  • Postgre
    
    SQL security best practices and implementation of robust security protocols
  • Creating and managing backup and recovery procedures for Postgre
    
    SQL environments
  • Postgre
    
    SQL monitoring tools and implementing proactive performance optimizations
  • Leading database migration projects
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to optimize complex database systems
• Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working alongside development teams to improve database integration

• 2+ years of experience with Linux operating system

Active Secret security clearance is required.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is: $78,600—$160,200 USD.
