Project Manager at GDIT Falls Church, VA

Responsibilities

• Lead/Manage/Support as a Project Manager in the PMO office supporting 2-4 projects meeting internal needs of General Dynamics lines of business and functional areas
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to manage project budget, risk, schedule and scope
• Drive positive outcomes through facilitation with the project team by leading consensus building discussion
• Utilize our methodology and gates to drive project success while meeting all governance policies

• Education:
  
  Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
• Certification:
  Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Experience:
  
  8+ years of related experience managing IT projects through formal methodology, cross‑functional matrixed teams, vendor management and risk management
• Technical skills:
  Experience with Smartsheet a nice to have, facilitation skills, presentation skills, collaborative consensus building, critical relationship management with internal stakeholder teams and ability to manage competing resources
• US Person: required
