- Lead and supervise the Human Resources (HR) and Staff Development departments.
- Provide strategic HR perspective and guidance on business issues as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
- Oversee recruitment and selection, employee relations, classification and compensation, benefit programs, and compliance with federal and state employment laws.
- Manage and coordinate HR initiatives across multiple departments.
- Interpret HR data and implement data‑driven solutions.
- Hands‑on experience in critical HR functions: recruitment & selection, employee relations/EEOC, HR compliance, classification & compensation, benefit administration, and federal/state employment laws.
- Management and supervision experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience building trusted, collaborative relationships with senior leaders, clinicians, operations, finance, and external stakeholders.
- Experience resolving sensitive or complex employee relations and workforce issues requiring discretion, diplomacy, and sound judgment.
- Experience leading HR initiatives that require coordination across multiple departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in public health or related field.
- PHR/SPHR certification.
- Experience working in a healthcare environment.
- Prior HR experience working for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
