Overview
Clinical Imaging Supervisor (Cardiology) – Inova Physician Services, Cardiology. This is a full-time role.
Responsibilities- Assist in the development, review, and implementation of policies and procedures, including quality assurance and quality control programs.
- Resolve physician complaints regarding clinical performance.
- Demonstrate excellent triage of patients.
- Demonstrate an understanding of radiation safety and protection principles.
- Demonstrate creativity in section operational skills, decision-making, and contingency planning.
- Initiate and manage various projects with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
- Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) at start; one of ARRT, ARDMS, CNT, Cardiovascular Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Registered Vascular Technology, or Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists, as applicable; additional certification in an applicable imaging modality required. Certification in Computed Tomography or Mammography required within 12 months of hire. Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging required within 18 months of hire. - Licensure:
Licensed Radiologic Technologist; state licensure required for all INOVA non-hospital licensed centers, unless working onsite at an INOVA hospital or for Nuclear Medicine. - Experience:
Three years of imaging experience in a hospital/healthcare environment with experience in an applicable imaging modality. - Education:
Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences or graduate of an accredited Radiology or Nuclear Medicine program with a valid certification.
