VES is seeking a Senior Engineer with extensive experience in systems analysis to join our exciting team at Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)).

This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in leading the planning and execution of complex mission and systems analysis effort. Systems included in this mission are technology analysis and assessment, system definition, systems analysis, systems architecture development and architecture products for systems of systems, kill chain analysis, systems engineering trade space and analysis to define capability gaps, modeling and simulation activities for mission improvement, or logistics support of DoD systems.

The ideal candidate has excellent oral and written communication skills. The candidate should have a deep understanding of military systems and operations.

The anticipated work location is in Falls Church
, on site. Travel: less than 10%.

• Master’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 15 years of relevant work experience
• Strong leadership skills
• Track record of delivering high-quality analysis in support of DoD objectives
• Active TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI).

• Experience with OUSD(R&E)
