Overview
Maximus Federal is seeking a Rheumatologist to join the Medical Consultant panel to be an Expert Medical Reviewer and it is 100%
REMOTE
.
Maximus will support the VA’s Office of Medical Legal Risk Management (MLRM) by providing a diverse panel of medical specialists and allied health professionals. These experts will conduct clinical reviews and participate in phone-based panels to determine if the standard of care was met and advise on potential National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) reporting.
- 20 hours of direct patient care per month
- Board Certification within exact specialty requested (Rheumatology for 5 years)
- CANNOT be a VA employee, active-duty military, or provide care in military facilities
- These reviews will be strictly Rheumatology cases
Providers will be required to obtain a Personal Identify Verification (PIV) card and fingerprints, and the project will support this requirement.
