Walmart is expanding across local retail stores and actively recruiting Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technicians with relevant experience. The role supports and oversees repair of Walmart facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment, using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, and power tools.

$23.00/hr – $45.00/hr (actual rate based on skills, experience, and location; may include additional premiums.)

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's refrigeration and HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC/refrigeration skills and appropriate tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive and document repair work orders for store associates.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training for operating equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, following Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move on and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights.

• 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-scale rack refrigeration experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record, able to pass an MVR report.
• Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or Technical HVAC/R certification and at least 2 years of mechanical maintenance or construction-related experience, or 4 years of such experience.

• Completion of a 2‑year vocational or technical HVAC/R program.
• Mechanical license in the city and/or state where the job is located.
