Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) – Fallon, NV

The Navy Exchange serves service members and their families with essential goods and services at Navy installation base sites. As an employee at the Fallon location, you will support the local Naval community and contribute to a dynamic, mission‑critical environment.

As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of the Exchange, delivering premier customer service, managing Point‑of‑Sale transactions, and maintaining store presentation. You will also support base operations and foster a welcoming experience for patrons.

• Engage proactively with customers, listening to and determining their needs.
• Direct customers to merchandise, explain promotions, mobile offers, and STAR card benefits.
• Maintain a clean, organized merchandise display and overall store appearance.
• Process sales using the Point‑of‑Sale system, including cash exchanges, discounts, gift cards, and electronic payments while ensuring accurate cash handling.
• Complete necessary paperwork, reports, and reconciliations.
• Participate in inventory processes and periodic counts.
• Adhere to assigned work schedule and perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school graduate or equivalent; no prior experience required.
• Basic knowledge of store merchandise and policies.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate within a team.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform routine moving tasks.
• Must pass a pre‑employment criminal background check.
