Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Overview

Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr this range is provided by Sam's Club. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

The merchandising & stocking associate role supports members by keeping items organized and accessible. Responsibilities include moving inventory, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, stocking shelves, and assisting members as needed.

• Promptly unloading trucks
• Assisting fellow associates as needed throughout the store
• Sorting and stocking products on shelves and in the backroom
• Engaging with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
• Maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area
• Ensuring club pick up orders are filled and staged according to policy
• Providing member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding self-service options, assisting with purchases, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services
• Maintaining safety of the facility by conducting safety checks, following forklift procedures, handling hazardous materials safely, and reporting unsafe conditions
• Ensuring proper product rotation, dating, recalls, sanitation, and prominent displays
• Signing and pricing merchandise according to policy; identifying shrink and damages
• Carrying out tasks with a focus on efficiency and adaptability
