Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Maintain an inventory of required laboratory supplies and apparatus for specific courses by communicating with the instructors and placing orders as needed through the Liberal Arts Administrative Assistant

* Cleaning, organizing, and proper disposal of materials and hazardous waste in the lab

* Assist in setting up the laboratory for each class exercise, including organization and distribution of equipment, supplies, and handouts

* Maintain equipment including electronics, sensors, and custom apparatus

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

* Associate's degree in Physics or closely related field (Completion of PHYS 151, 152, 180, and/or 181 can be substituted for an Associate's degree)

Additional Information

This is a part-time, temporary/seasonal position. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis to establish an applicant pool. As vacancies occur, they are filled from the pool.

Compensation:

$17.20 an hour
