Summary
You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the ORDINANCE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT, LOGISTICS SUPPORT DIVISION of NMCPAC CWD DET FALLON.
Duties
Help
- You will maintain records of supplies, tools, equipment and materials used by the organization.
- You will review all requests for supplies, parts and special tools for ordnance operations support.
- You will consult with responsible personnel to establish procurement policies and procedures and to identify priorities and justification for procurement.
- You will research or obtain equipment specifications and acquisition sources for procurement.
- You will advise the vendor of any defective or faulty purchases and coordinates their return for credit.
- You will receive material ordered, opens crates, boxes or bags, and identify the material for distribution.
- You will compile records concerned with the quantity, cost, and type of material received, stored, and issued and requisitions needed supplies.
- You will prepare periodic inventory reports for management review.
- You will account for property within various tracking systems, to include the purchase, organizing distribution and inventory.
- You will provide recommendations for procurement of replacement items based on available inventory and condition of current equipment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- You will be required to lift and/or carry items up to 25 pounds in weight.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
providing supply or logistics support by utilizing automated information systems to track inventory and maintain accountability of stock levels to solve delays or shortages for supply operations.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of at least one academic year of graduate education (or law school, as specified in qualification standards or individual occupational requirements) in a course of study that directly reflects the job-related KSAs/competencies necessary to satisfy the minimum qualifications and perform the duties of the position.

A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience
