Position Summary: As an Applebee’s Assistant Manager you will oversee day‑to‑day restaurant operations, lead a team, and ensure guests and staff experience outstanding service. You will collaborate with the General Manager to meet sales, inventory, safety and quality standards.

• Deliver timely, friendly service in accordance with company standards.
• Create a culture aligned with Flynn Applebee’s core values.
• Respond to and resolve guest complaints promptly.
• Cover guest interactions, including table visits per Flynn standards.
• Maintain inventory levels and perform line checks to ensure product quality.
• Schedule staff to meet sales and service needs.
• Execute safety and security protocols.
• Promote restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Perform routine maintenance and report repairs to GM/Area Director.
• Recruit and refer potential team members and managers.
• Encourage training and development, utilizing the Management Development Program.
• Assist with staffing in all roles (line, expo, seating, bartending).
• Manage cost control in assigned department.
• Adhere to local, state and federal laws.
• Conduct bi‑weekly/weekly inventories and submit accurate paperwork.
• Support health and safety compliance.
• Model leadership by example.
• Develop proficiency with store technology.
• Maintain eligibility for mobile apps and POS systems.
• Participate in performance documentation and coaching of employees.

• 2–3 years of restaurant management experience.
• Serve‑Safe Food & Alcohol certifications preferred.

Hourly wage: $18.18 – $25.71 (approximately $51,994 – $73,530 per year based on a 50‑hour work week) with potential for monthly bonus.
