Cultivation Lead - Mayflower Medicinals (Fall River, MA) What we are looking for…
We are looking for a hands‑on, dependable Cultivation Lead to guide day‑to‑day execution of plant care and harvest operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining plant health, executing harvest cadence, and supporting training and task coordination across veg, flower, and harvest. You will be expected to lead by example on the floor, support task prioritization, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance throughout the cultivation cycle.
This role reports to the Cultivation Supervisor and works closely with the post‑harvest, QA/QC, and planning teams.
- Execute and guide tasks including transplanting, topping, pruning, IPM, and trellising.
- Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, CO₂) and escape variances.
- Perform daily visual inspections for plant health and pest detection.
- Ensure watering and fertigation activities align with SOPs and feeding schedules.
- Coordinate and participate in plant cut‑downs, fresh frozen harvests, and cured flower harvests.
- Ensure harvest data is logged accurately (strain, wet weight, plant count).
- Maintain proper tagging, batch tracking, and staging procedures.
- Oversee sanitation of harvest tools and rooms between batches.
- Support daily assignments and rotation of cultivation technicians across rooms and tasks.
- Train Tech I and II employees on plant care SOPs and harvest procedures.
- Conduct real‑time QC checks for pruning, trellising, and harvest execution.
- Communicate task status, room progress, and labor needs to Supervisor.
- Ensure all plant movements, harvest logs, and environmental readings are documented accurately.
- Support readiness for internal audits or state inspections through accurate record‑keeping.
- Enforce PPE and biosecurity standards to prevent cross‑contamination.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours a day and rotating shifts.
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds.
- Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a work day.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to use a ladder (up to 12 ft. extension) and general hardware tools needed for common repairs.
- General office environment.
- Exposure to fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noise.
- Must be 21 years old.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Please note:
This position consists of four, ten hour shifts each week, Sunday - Wednesday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM. Pay: $22/hr equal Employment Opportunity.
