The JRI IT Department is seeking an IT Operations & Support Specialist. The JRI IT Department supports 2800+ users in 90+ locations across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. JRI recognizes that a knowledgeable, well-skilled staff is essential to the high-quality programs and ensuring effective client outcomes.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 per year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

What

You'll Do Telecommunications & Mobile Management
  • Device Lifecycle:
    Receive, activate, and configure iPhones; install MDM (Intune), track inventory, and ship devices to users.
  • Account Administration:
    Analyze and reconcile cellular accounts; code charges to departments and prepare invoices for processing.
  • Reporting & Procurement:
    Generate monthly cellular usage/asset reports for management; facilitate hardware and software orders and track deliveries.
Technical Support & Operations
  • Helpdesk:
    Resolve Level I issues for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers (Windows, iOS, Chrome

    OS) via the iSupport ticketing system promptly. Escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Infrastructure Support:
    Assist with technology rollouts, software upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
Logistics & Professionalism
  • Regional Travel:
    Provide on-site support at locations across MA, CT, and RI as needed.
  • Collaboration:

    Communicate clearly with end users and IT staff; participate in department meetings and perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Business preferred.
  • 3+ years in IT support or office administration with increasing responsibility.
  • Analytical

    Skills:

    Strong troubleshooting, inventory management, and financial reconciliation.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    MDM (Intune/Apple Business Manager), Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 (Teams/One Drive), and Google Workspace.
  • Exceptional office organization skills.
  • Attention to detail, willingness to learn, adaptability, and the ability to remain focused on repetitive tasks are essential.
  • Knowledge of, or experience in Telecommunications, Customer Service Help Desk, and/or Information Technology environments is required.
  • Must pass a CORI background check; valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required for regional travel.
