Several full-time fee-for-service opportunities are available for Saint Vincent’s community-based behavioral health program and mental health clinic serving children, youth, and families. Responsibilities include strengths-based assessment and treatment planning; clinic, home-and community-based individual and family therapy; communication of clients’ progress through case review meetings and case record documentation; on-call clinical support of program. Flexible schedule includes late afternoons/ early evenings. Professional development opportunities and supervision for licensure is provided.
- Develops and monitors clinical interventions for youth.
- Provides individual therapy to youth as needed.
- Provides clinic-based family therapy as indicated.
- Develops and reviews risk management/safety plans in collaboration with the youth and parent/caregiver(s) and other collaterals as appropriate. Assists in crisis intervention as needed.
- Develops and facilitates a variety of psycho educational and skills building opportunities for youth served.
- Performs Comprehensive Assessment inclusive of the age appropriate version of the Massachusetts CANS Assessment.
- Partners with youth and families/caregivers to develop natural and sustainable coping strategies that can be utilized upon discharge to home or to an alternative living arrangement.
- Provides assistance and support to youth and families/caregivers through development of community connections and relationships.
- Provides consultation to staff, including residential staff, therapeutic training and support staff and therapeutic mentors.
- Develops and facilitates clinical training for staff as needed.
- Facilitates treatment/care plan meetings as appropriate.
- Reviews and provides documentation required for Treatment Plans and Discharge Summaries.
- Consults with the collateral providers, state agencies, ESP/Mobile Crisis Intervention and other individuals and entities that may impact the youth’s treatment.
- Completes insurance reviews and communicates outcomes to program staff, the treatment team and fiscal department as warranted.
- Ensures compliance with the guidelines of maintaining treatment records, protecting the privacy of youth and their families.
- Complies with internal and external reporting procedures.
- Facilitates interdepartmental collaboration and integration of services through ongoing communication.
- Participates in Agency’s major initiatives such as strategic planning, accreditation and licensing studies.

EducationMSW or Graduate Degree in a related field (as outlined in program specifications) required. Licensed or license eligible required.
ExperienceOne to two years clinical/case management experience required; experience in a similar setting preferred.
Position Specific RequirementsMust be able to work flexible hours.
Driving RequirementsRequired to drive on Saint Vincent’s Services business. Must have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record, appropriate insurance coverage and successful completion of St. Vincent’s Driver Safety Training.
