Overview
There is one full-time position available within the Emergency Residential Childhood Program for Cottage 5. The hours are flexible and based on the needs of youth and program.
ResponsibilitiesServes as primary contact for families/guardians, DCF, and schools regarding treatment progress of caseload of youth; facilitates diagnostic and clinical assessments, including the CANS and comprehensive assessments; attends Individual Treatment Plan meetings; co‑facilitates clinical and psycho‑educational groups with the Program Clinician and psycho‑educational groups within the milieu; provides support to milieu to ensure fidelity to the ARC framework; assists youth with the development of Behavioral Support and Safety Plans;
coordinates and supervises family and guardian visits; assists with facilitation of intakes for the ER Programs.
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field required. Two to three years human services experience required, preferably in a similar residential setting.
Core CompetenciesDemonstrate effective communication and documentation skills. Demonstrate the ability to work in a strength‑based manner to forge relationships with youth and families. Demonstrate familiarity with the ARC and Wraparound principles and trauma‑informed care. Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills.
